Mahindra and Mahindra have confirmed the launch of the much-anticipated Thar 5-door in the middle of 2024.
The company’s CEO, Rajesh Jejurikar, revealed this information during their recent earnings call.

The Thar 5-door is expected to offer multiple powertrain options and will be loaded with features and technology.
It might even borrow some styling cues from the previously showcased Thar EV concept.

To avoid impacting the existing Thar 3-door’s long waiting period, Mahindra will be producing the 5-door variant on a dedicated production line.
While details about the exact features and design are yet to be revealed, the Thar 5-door is expected to share some components with existing Mahindra models like the Thar 3-door and the Scorpio.
