On the day when Assam’s overall tally increased to 1,33,066, a total of 2,265 more patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from hospitals or Covid care centres on Wednesday.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 status said: “Discharge Alert. 2265 patients discharged today.”
“We have a good number of discharged patients consecutively for the second day. Thank you Doctors,” the health minister said.

With the release of 2,265 more patients, the total number of recovered patients increased to 1,03,504 on Wednesday.
Assam currently has 29,163 active COVID19 patients.

The deadly disease has claimed the lives of 396 people in Assam while 3 positive patients migrated from the state.
On Wednesday, a total of 18 positive patients died of COVID19 infection in Assam.
The state has registered a total of 2,243 new COVID19 positive patients in the last 24 hours taking the total tally to 1,33,066.
