Camera giant Nikon has recently announced that it is providing its online photography classes for free until the end of April 2020.

The company’s move to provide free photography classes comes as a measure to help people learn about photography skills as most of them are stuck in their homes due to imposition of lockdown amid the massive outbreak of coronavirus.

“Nikon’s mission has always been to empower creators. In these uncertain times, we can do that by helping creators stay inspired, engaged and growing. That’s why we’re providing all of our courses free for the entire month of April. Let’s come out of this even better,” the company said in a statement.

However, fees will be charged for Nikon’s online photography classes from May onwards.

Nikon’s online photography classes are priced ranges from $15 to $50 each.

To sign up for Nikon’s photography classes, a user simply needs to enter their first name, last name, email ID, and country of residence.

The company’s ten classes on online photography are taken by expert photographers like Kitty Peters, Tamara Lackey, Joe McNally, Reed Hoffman, Joey Terrill, Chris Hershman and Taylor Glenn.

The classes give lessons on basics of photography, macro photography, dynamic landscape photography, environmental portraiture and creating video contents.
