The clay idols of Saraswati are being sold at a minimum rate of Rs 200.
Flowers, fruits and sweets are placed as ‘prasad’ to Goddess Saraswati.
Families throughout cities, towns and villages are seen enjoying the festivities of Saraswati Puja on both the days.
To receive the goddess’s blessings, students also place their books, pens and musical instruments before the idol for the entire day.
