The awards are given away to people from different walks of life to acknowledge their contributions in different fields.
“Success is a virtue which can’t be achieved without certain qualities. With discipline, dedication and hard work, achieving success get easier,” Sonowal reiterated.
“Man is mortal. However, good actions are always immortal and they have a lingering effect even after one dies,” Sonowal observed.

He urged the youths to be known to the society for their noble works.
Sonowal also said that the act of altruistic endeavour will also inspire other individuals and organizations for carrying out motivational and humanitarian services.
Chief Minister Sonowal conferred 20 personalities including Asam University Vice-Chancellor Dilip Chandra Nath, IPS Officer Anand Prakash Tiwari and several other entrepreneurs and business leaders.
