A small trader received bullet injuries as he was shot at by a gunman at Sarumataria area in Guwahati on Thursday night.
The injured small trader at Sarumataria near Dispur capital complex, has been identified as Ganesh Kumar Pathak.
One Nupur Kashyap has been arrested by police in connection with the shooting incident.
The injured has immediately been admitted to a nearby hospital located near the spot of the incident.
According media reports, the small trader, Ganesh Kumar Pathak, was shot at allegedly by a gunman following a heated argument on some issues.
The police have seized the pistol used in the firing from the spot.
