Ayurveda expert Dr. Dixa Bhavsar Savaliya has recommended an Ayurvedic drink that you can have it in the morning instead of a cup of tea
She claims that this winter drink is good for reducing hairfall, aids in weight loss and helps in managing sugar levels and hormonal balance
Meanwhile, this drink can keep away bloating and boosts immunity preventing cold and coughs from bothering you
To make this healthy drink, take 2 glasses of water (500 ml) in a pan and add 7-10 curry leaves in it
Add 3 ajwain leaves, 1 tbsp coriander seeds, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 powdered cardamom and 1 inch ginger slice (grated) in the water
Boil the whole mixture for 5 minutes on a medium flame and then strain it following which your healthy winter drink will be ready for consumption
According to Savaliya, drinking 100 ml of this healthy drink is enough and you can even add the juice of half a lemon in it for better weight loss results
While curry leaves helps with hairfall, reducing sugar levels, improving haemoglobin and weight loss, ajwain is good for tackling bloating, indigestion, cough, cold, diabetes, asthma.
Coriander seeds will help in improving metabolism, migraine headaches, hormonal balance and thyroid and the cumin seeds will aid in sugar control, fatloss, acidity, migraine, cholesterol and more.
Cardamomis good for motion sickness, nausea, migraine, high blood pressure and even in skin & hair as it contains anti-oxidants and ginger can combat all winter ailments and tackle digestive issues too
