The Base model starts at Rs 9.99 lakh and can be customised quite a lot. The car comes with a 25kwh battery with Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). It is capable range of 300+ kilometres on a full battery.
2. MG Comet EV
The second car is the MG Comet EV. This is one of the most affordable cars from Morris Garage with tons of features. The car is compact yet practical to be used for daily city commutes. However, it does lack the capability of being used for long journeys. Priced between Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 9.65 lakh, the car is one of the most premium vehicles vehicles available on the market. The MG Comment EV is loaded with a 17.3 kWh battery and is capable of 230 km on a single charge.
3. Tata Tiago EV
Another car that comes to mind when talking about EVs is the Tata Tiago EV. This car fits right in the budget and can be termed as the perfect small family car for the city. Priced at Rs 7.99 lakh (starting), the Tiago EV is a full-sized hatchback with some great features. It comes with 19.2 – 24 kWh battery options and is capable of covering 250-315 kilometres on a single charge depending on the battery.
