On the occasion of Holka Dahan on Monday, people of Worli area in Mumbai are set to burn down the effigies of coronavirus with ‘Coronasur’ written on it.

“The locals will set fire to the Coronasur effigy at the Holika Dahan to get rid of the deadly coronavirus,” reported Times Now.

Apart from ‘Coronasur’, effigies of those accused of carrying out crimes against women will also be burnt on the occasion.

There were a number of effigies erected that showed a woman warrior holding heads of the Nirbhaya convicts giving a social message on the crimes against women.
