Ayan Gogoi Gohain, who has recently been declared by India Book of Records as the youngest author in India, has again won the hearts of his admirers through his paintings.

His first solo art exhibition, Gossamer Dreams was organised on August 3 at Mizoram University Auditorium in Aizawl.

Hundreds of art lovers has admired his paintings and marvelled at the uniquely captivating techniques, the bright choice of colours, texture and his maturity and direction.

Ayan’s art work

Ayan displayed 62 paintings and none of these were for sale. The main purpose for this exhibition was to “Make ourselves realise how amazing this world is!” in the words of the four years old painter.

Ayan is the grandchild of Purna Kanta Gogoi and Janoki Gogoi. He has learnt everything about paintings from his grandparents based in Assam’s North Lakhimpur.
