One Omvir Singh of Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district has been named his newborn boy ‘Sanitizer’.

Singh said that as the boy was born amid the coronavirus pandemic, he has the capacity to fight against the coronavirus.

He further said that every time people will talk about Corona, they would remember Sanitizer and it saved them.

The boy was born and immediately after his birth, Singh and his wife Monika announced that they would name the boy Sanitizer, bringing a smile on the faces of the hospital staff.

Earlier on March 22, on the day of Janata Curfew, a baby girl born in Gorakhpur was named ‘Corona’ and a boy born a week later in Deoria district was named ‘Lockdown’.

In another incident, a newborn boy in Rampur area of the state was named ‘Covid’ last week.
