Tripura has registered 10 more Covid19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 1,089.
Confirming the new cases detected in the state, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb in a tweet on Monday night said out of 1,529 samples tested, 10 were found positive for Covid19.

He also informed that while 9 of the new cases have been reported from Sepahijala district, the other case has been reported from South Tripura district.
As per the status report of Covid19 surveillance as on June 15, shared by the CM, a total of 48,994 samples have been collected in the state so far, out of which 1089 samples have been found positive for Covid19.
While 46,599 samples have been found negative for Covid19, one person died of infection.
The highest number of positive cases has been reported from Sepahijala where 515 persons tested positive so far, followed by Dhalai district which has reported 201 cases.
In Tripura, a total of 433 Covid19 patients have recovered from the disease so far.

With over 11,500 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, the Covid19 positive cases in India on Monday rose to 3.32 lakh.
The death toll crossed the 9,500-mark in the country to stand at 9,520 deaths.
A total of 1.7 lakh people have recovered from the disease, while there are over 1.5 lakh active Covid19 cases in the country.
