As storm has caused massive damage in these places, the villagers have sought government assistance to rebuild their houses.

The people of these villages belong to the marginalised section of the society and without government help they will not be able to “piece together” their lives.

The impact of the storm was so devastating that many a shop also got damaged. In fact, within an hour, Churaibari and several other villages in North Tripura was left in shambles.
