At least three persons died and 13 others injured in a road accident at Kolia Bhomora Bridge on Thursday evening.
The accident took place when a passenger vehicle hit a truck in the middle of the bridge. The passenger vehicle was on its way to Chulung Borghuli in Nagaon from Gutlong in Tezpur.
Two of the deceased have been identified as Ahmad Ali (25) and Alpana Bora (35). Alpana Bora was declared brought dead at Tezpur Mission Hospital.
