Sikkim chief secretary AK Shrivastava has chaired a coordination meeting on Thursday to discuss detailed agenda of the proposed visit of the Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu to Sikkim on June 15 and 16.

The meeting has discussed the minute to minute programme of the visit of the Vice President and chief secretary has directed departments concerned on their respective responsibilities.

During his two-day visit Vice President will attend the Convocation of ICFAI University, Sikkim and an official programme at the National Research Centre for Orchids in Pakyong, East Sikkim. The Vice President is scheduled to interact with scientists of the Research Centre.

Chief secretary has called upon all the heads of departments and officials from other agencies to work in proper coordination and cooperation. The meeting was attended by senior officials, heads of various departments and officials of different government departments, army and other agencies and organisations.
