The Bhaleydhunga Ropeway offers breathtaking views of the regionโs picturesque landscapes and the Mt Kanchenjunga.

It stretches 3.5 kilometres and ascends from 1,800 metres to 3,500 metres above sea level.
Namchi serves as a major tourist destination of Sikkim and the new ropeway is likely to attract more tourists to the region during the upcoming festive season.
The ropeway with 18 cabins has a capacity of eight passengers each.

With a top speed of six metres per second, the ropeway ensures adventure for the tourists looking to experience the regionโs beauty and panoramic views along the way.
The ropeway is currently operating between 8 am and 3 pm, and a ride in the cable car is priced at Rs 950 per person.
Namchi – situated at an altitude of 5,500ย feet aboveย sea levelย – is at a distance of 78 kilometres from the stateโs capitalย Gangtok.
