Opposition NPF in Nagaland on Friday demanded the government to initiate stringent action against, Principal Secretary of RD Department Lhoubeilatuo Kire for his ‘act of indiscipline’ as per Service Conduct Rules.
The NPF Legislature Party said the audacious behaviour of Principal Secretary of RD Department Lhoubeilatuo Kire following the expose of abnormal fund-allocation to a particular village in Dimapur District is most appalling.

“The officer in question had given false declaration, widely carried in the local media, by claiming that he had taken-over charge of RD Department in the first week of April. However, available Government documents show that he had taken-over charge of the Department on March 17,” the NPF said.
“Serving of an ultimatum to the Leader of NPF Legislature Party T R Zeliang is unprecedented and unacceptable under democratic and parliamentary norms and procedures,” the NPF observed.
