The grand finale of the Mr and Miss Nagaland Mega Model Hunt will take place on Friday at the RCEMPA in Jotsoma in Nagaland’s Kohima district.

Organizers of the event have decided to go ahead with the beauty pageant despite the rise in Covid-19 positive cases in the state.
The event was supposed to be held on June 13 last year, but had to be deferred because of the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to sources, the winners of the model hunt will be participating in the Mr and Miss Globe India and Northeast India to be held later this year.

The organizers hoped that the model hunt will provide an apt platform for the youths of Nagaland to showcase their talents.
Meanwhile, the organizers said that the model manhunt will be held following all Covid-19 protocols.
Meanwhile Nagaland governor RN Ravi recently reviewed the Covid-19 preparedness of Nagaland and also expressed concern on the low rate of vaccination in the state.
Meanwhile, the Dimapur district administration has imposed night curfew in the district on all days in view of the alarming rise in Covid-19 cases.
