Nagaland has reported 4 more Covid19 deaths and 77 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.

The news has been confirmed by the Nagaland health & family welfare department on its Twitter handle.

The health department informed that 160 more people have recovered from the disease on Sunday.

According to the latest Covid19 bulletin, released by the Nagaland government on Sunday evening, the Covid19 death toll increased to 412 in the state on Sunday.

So far, Nagaland has registered a total of 22,773 Covid19 positive cases out of a total of 1,99,356 tests.

Nagaland currently has 4,732 active Covid19 cases.

A total of 16,974 people have recovered from the disease.

According to the bulletin, a total of 14 positive patients lost their lives due to non-Covid causes.

The new cases were confirmed out of 842 tests conducted in Nagaland on Sunday, according to the bulletin.

In the last 24 hours, India reported 1.14 lakh daily new Covid19 cases, lowest in 60 days.

India’s active caseload stood at 14,77,799 on Sunday.

The country’s caseload dropped below 15 lakh on Sunday.

Over 2.69 crore persons have recovered from COVID19 infection across the country so far.

Fall in daily positivity rate at 5.62% continues in the country and the rate remained less than 10% for the last 13 consecutive days.

The country has crossed landmark of 23 crore vaccination coverage.

So far 23.13 crore vaccine doses have been administered in India so far, the Union health ministry said.
