Nagaland has registered 34 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 5,263.
Confirming the news of the detection of the new cases, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 status on Wednesday said the positive cases were confirmed out of 693 tests.

“Update! Out of 693 results received 34 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed,” health minister Phom said.
Of the new cases, 31 have been detected in Dimapur district, 2 in Mon and 1 new case has been detected in Kohima district, the health minister informed.
Meanwhile, 25 other patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have recovered from the disease, the health minister informed.

“Also, State reports 25 recoveries of COVID-19 patients,” Phom tweeted.
The health minister said while 23 patients have recovered from Kohima district, 1 each patient has recovered from Mon and Phek districts.
On Tuesday, Nagaland registered 15 new COVID19 cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 5,229.
