Nagaland has registered 15 new COVID19 cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 5,229.
Confirming the news, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 status on Tuesday said the new cases have been detected out of 304 samples tested.

“Update! Out of 304 results received 15 +ve cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed,” health minister Phom tweeted.
The health minister informed that of the new positive cases, 8 cases have been detected in Dimapur district, 4 in Kohima, and 1 each new cases has been detected in Mokokchung, Tuensang and Mon districts.
The health minister also informed that 27 more patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have recovered from the disease.

The recoveries have been reported from Kohima district.
“Also, State reports 27 recoveries of COVID-19 patients from Kohima,” Phom tweeted.
On Monday, Nagaland registered 131 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 5,214.
