Nagaland has registered 114 new Covid19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s total positive tally to 13,003.

Confirming the news on Saturday evening, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom on his Twitter handle said: “Update! 114 +ve cases of COVID-19 reported today.”

Of the new cases, 101 were detected in Dimapur, 4 in Kohima, 2 in Mokokchung and 7 new cases were detected in Phek district, the Nagaland health minister said.

Nagaland currently has 555 active cases while 12,117 people, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the disease.

India’s cumulative recoveries stood at 1,38,67,997 on Saturday while the National Recovery Rate was 83.49%.

India registered 2,19,838 recoveries in the last 24 hours, the Union health ministry said in a statement on Saturday.

The ministry said 3,46,786 new cases were registered in the last 24 hours.

Ten States including Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Rajasthan reported 74.15% of the new cases.

India’s total active caseload reached 25,52,940 in the last 24 hours.

Eleven states/UTs have not reported any COVID19 deaths in the last 24 hours.

These are Ladakh (UT), D&D & D&N, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Lakshadweep, Sikkim, Manipur, Nagaland, A&N Islands and Arunachal Pradesh, the ministry stated.
