Nagaland on Monday registered nine new cases of COVID-19.
These fresh cases are out of 418 samples tested on Sunday.
Five of them are from Dimapur quarantine centre and four are from Peren quarantine centre.
With this the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in the State went up to 177.
Among them, 89 are active cases.

This was informed by state health minister S Pangnyu Phom through his official Twitter handle on Monday morning.
Phom tweeted:
‘9 new cases of COVID-19 +ve have been reported out of 418 samples tested. 5 from Dimapur QC & 4 from Peren QC.
Positive : 177
Active : 89
Recovered : 88
Death : 00
Update at 8: 30 am, 15th June, 2020.’
Eighty-eight persons have already recovered from the deadly coronavirus and were discharged from hospitals after treatment.

The State has not witnessed any COVID-19 related deaths so far.
