A delegation of the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) called on Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda at his official residence in New Delhi.

The delegation comprised Nagaland tribal affairs and higher education minister Temjen Imna Along, the advisor to IT&C, S&T and NRE, Mmhonlumo Kikon; adviser & MLA Medo Yhokha; adviser & MLA Mathang Yanthan and adviser & MLA Tongpang Ozukum.

Union minister Arjun Munda tweeted: “Reviewed the works that are being carried out by the ministers of Nagaland government for the development of the tribal people living in Nagaland. The significant meeting was attended by  Mr Medo Yhokha, Adviser & MLA Mr Mathang Yanthan Adviser & MLA Mr Tongpang Ozukum honourable.”

The Nagaland delegation, who met Union minister Munda on Sunday, had a discussion on the tribal affairs of the state and the welfare of the tribal people, minister Temjen Imna Along, who is also the Nagaland BJP president, said on his Twitter handle.

“Had a meeting with Hon’ble Union Minister of @TribalAffairsIn, GoI, Shri. @MundaArjun Ji at his official residence in the presence of my respected colleagues from Nagaland,” Along tweeted.

“We had an intensive discussion on the tribal affairs of Nagaland and the welfare of the tribal people,” he added.

Mmhonlumo Kikon, who was a part of the delegation, while sharing a joint picture with the Unuion minister also said they discussed about the welfare of the tribal people in Nagaland and the works of the Union tribal affairs ministry in the state.

“Met With Honourable Union Minister @MundaArjun at his residence! Had wide ranging discussion about the welfare of tribals and the excellent work he is doing!” Kikon tweeted.
