Nagaland higher education minister Temjen Imna Along will come live on Facebook and Instagram at 7 pm on Monday to discuss the global pandemic COVID19 and how the government is working to tackle the present situation.
Along with the minister, there will also be Dr. Nyan Kikon, state nodal officer, Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme of the health and family welfare department.
Informing this on his Twitter handle, minister Temjen Imna Along, who is also the Nagaland BJP president tweeted on Sunday: “Tomorrow I will be coming live on Fb. and Insta. at 7 PM along with Dr. Nyan Kikon, State Nodal Officer, Integrated Disease Surveillance Program, Dept. of H & FW.”
“We will be discussing the global pandemic #COVID19, and how the State Government is working to tackle the situation,” he said.

In another tweet on Monday, minister Along said: “Though the most common symptoms are fever, tiredness and dry cough, watch out for the below symptoms too as often, #covid19 may accompany these signs in some people.”
“Stay home. Save lives. And don’t forget to wash hands frequently,” he added.
The minister informed that he has handed over 1,500 face masks (3 layered), 4 sets of PPE suits (fully sanitized) manufactured at Govt. Polytechnic Kohima by the Fashion Technology Department and 1 set of Phenyl to agriculture minister Kaito Aye.
