Sensation prevailed in the entire area after five bodies were recovered at Mukalmua in Assam’s Nalbari disitrct on Thursday.

Sources revealed, the bodies of five youths were recovered from a vehicle in the area. The dead youths have been identified as Padum Koibarta, Sriman Koibarta, Narayan Koibarta, Bikash Koibarta and Gautam Koibarta.

The incident took place at Galdighola village under Mukalmua police station.

The youths were returning home after a picnic in Bhutan.

The cause of the deaths is yet to be ascertained as mystery shrouds the entire incident.

Locals said loud music was playing in the vehicle for the entire night. Later in the morning, agitated locals broke the glass of the vehicle only to find the bodies of the five youths.

The youths hailed from Adabari in Mukalmua.

Meanwhile, the bodies have been sent for post mortem at the Nalbari civil hospital.

A police team led by Nalbari Superintendent of Police, Hemanta Bhattacharya has already begun investigation into the whole incident.

The police are clueless whether the vehicle met with an accident or the cause of death of the five youths is something else.
