On the day when Mizoram’s COVID19 tally stands at 282, a total of 7 other patients, who were earlier infected by the virus, have been discharged from the hospital on Saturday.
According to the latest data on the state’s COVID19 status, shared by the directorate of information & public relations, Mizoram, on its Twitter handle, out of the total 282 positive cases, 188 are male and 94 are female.
Mizoram currently has 115 active COVID19 cases.
With the release of 7 more patients on Saturday, the total number of discharged cases in the state has increased to 167.
Out of the total 115 active cases, Aizawl has 75 cases, Lunglei – 16 cases, Siaha – 3 cases, Champhai – 3 cases, Serchhip – 4 cases, Lawngtlai – 13 cases Mamit has 1 active case.
The districts, where there are no active COVID19 cases, are Kolasih, Khawzawl, Hnahthial, and Saitual.

Mizoram has not reported any death due to COVID19 infection so far.
India’s current COVID19 caseload is 3,58,692 while close to 18,000 people have recuperated from the disease in the last 24 hours taking the number of recoveries to 6,53,750 which exceed active cases by 2,95,058, the Union health ministry said on Saturday.
