Troops of Assam Rifles have seized one point 22 pistol and arrested one person from Lawngtlai town in Mizoram.
Lunglei battalion of the Assam rifle seized the point 22 pistol and arrested one person in south Mizoram Lawngtlai town on Thursday, Assam Rifles sources said Friday.
The paramilitary force also seized 159 bottles of alcohol and 46 beer cans from the possession of the accused, the sources said.
The proximate value of the seized arm and liquors was Rs. 1 lakh, it said.
The seized arm, liquors and the accused were handed over to state police, the sources added.
