With the detection of 52 new positive cases, Meghalaya’s Covid19 tally increased to 12,005.
Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma in his latest tweet on the state’s Covid19 status said the state currently has 648 active cases.
The chief minister also informed that a total of 11,241 people, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the disease.
According to data, shared by PIB, Shillong, the deadly disease has claimed the lives of 116 people in Meghalaya so far.
The current fatality rate in Meghalaya is 0.96%.

Till December 3, 2020, a total of 2,47,928 persons have tested for Covid19 in Meghalaya, out of which 2,35,923 persons have tested negative.
On December 3, a total of 2,500 tests were conducted in the state out of which 52 persons tested positive.

The total confirmed Covid19 cases reported from East Garo Hills is 325 including 27 active cases; East Jaintia Hills has reported 514 cases, including 5 active cases; East Khasi Hills has registered a total of 7,212 cases including 367 active.
North Garo Hills has registered a total of 110 cases including 7 active; Ri-Bhoi district has reported a total of 1,281 cases including 32 active, South Garo Hills has reported 189 cases including 6 active and West Jaintia Hills has reported a total of 346 cases so far including 19 active cases.
South West Garo Hills has reported 174 Covid19 cases including 18 active; South West Khasi Hills has reported a total of 53 positive cases including 2 active; West Garo Hills has registered 1,633 cases including 156 active and West Khasi Hills has reported 168 cases including 9 active cases.
