Shillong: The upcoming India tour of German rock band Scorpions has been cancelled due to unforeseen medical issues affecting some of the band members, BookMyShow Live announced.

The cancelled shows were scheduled to take place in Shillong on April 21, Delhi-NCR on April 24, Bengaluru on April 26, and Mumbai on April 30.

Organisers expressed regret over the cancellation and apologised to fans for the inconvenience and disappointment caused. They added that the band remains interested in performing in India in the future, subject to their health and schedule.

All tickets purchased through BookMyShow will be automatically refunded within 7 to 10 working days.

The tour was to mark the bandโ€™s return to India after nearly two decades, with Scorpions set to kick off the โ€˜Coming Home 2026โ€™ tour with a live concert in Meghalayaโ€™s Shillong on April 21 at JN Stadium, before heading to Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru and Mumbai.

The Shillong concert was supported by Meghalaya Tourism, with The Circus as the event partner. The India leg of the tour was part of Bandland On Tour, an extension of BookMyShow Liveโ€™s rock and alternative music IP, Bandland.
