The total number of COVID19 positive cases increased to 377 in Meghalaya on Thursday.
Out of the total positive cases, registered in Meghalaya so far, 247 are Border Security Force (BSF) and other armed forces’ personnel.
According to the latest data on the state’s COVID19 status on Thursday, shared by Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma on his Twitter handle, apart from the BSF and other armed forces’ personnel, only 79 other people have tested positive for COVID19 in the state so far.
A total of 49 patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have recovered from the disease, chief minister Sangma informed.
“Total Active Cases- 326. Total BSF & other Armed Forces- 247. Total Others- 79. Total Recovered- 49,” Sangma tweeted on Thursday.

The deadly disease has claimed the lives of two persons including a doctor of the state and an infant from Arunachal Pradesh.
The total number of COVID19 positive cases in India surged past 10 lakh on Thursday.
On Thursday, 32,696 new cases were registered within a span of 24 hours, the Union health ministry said.
More than 25,000 people have succumbed to COVID19 in the country.
