Nagaland has registered 14 new COVID19 positive cases on Thursday, taking the state’s overall tally to 916.
Confirming the detection of the new positive cases, Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in his latest tweet on the state’s COVID19 status, a total of 286 samples were tested for COVID19 on the day, out of which 14 were found positive for the virus.
Out of the new COVID19 positive cases, 12 have been reported from Dimapur and 2 have been reported from Kohima.
“Out of 286 samples tested, 14 positive cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed. 12 in Dimapur & 2 in Kohima,” health minister Phom tweeted.
Meanwhile, 43 COVID19 patients from Peren have recovered from the disease, the health minister said.
He said the recovered patients will remain under strict surveillance of the health department.
“And 43 COVID-19 patient from Peren have been recovered. However, the recovered patients will be kept under strict surveillance,” Phom said.
