According to the latest Covid19 bulletin, released by the National Health Mission (NHM) Meghalaya, with the new cases, the total Covid19 positive tally increased to 51,524 on Sunday.

A total of 862 people have lost their lives due to the Covid19 infection in Meghalaya so far.

According to the NHM Meghalaya data, a total of 632 patients, who earlier infected by Covid19, recovered from the disease on Sunday.

So far, a total of 46,228 patients have recovered from the disease in Meghalaya.

According to NHM Meghalaya data shared on Saturday night, so far a total of 7,32,432 people have been administered Covid19 vaccines in Meghalaya.

According to the NHM Meghalaya data, on Saturday, a total of 7,644 people received Covid19 vaccine doses.

Of the 7,644 people, who received Covid19 doses on Saturday, 6,007 were above 18 years and 1,554 were above 45 years.

On Saturday, a total of 25 health care workers received Covid19 vaccine doses while 58 frontline workers received the vaccine doses.

Meanwhile, India reported 43,071 new Covid19 cases in the last 24 hours.

India’s active caseload declined to 4,85,350 on Sunday.

A total of 2,96,58,078 people recovered across the country so far and 52,299 patients recovered during the last 24 hours.

The country’s recovery rate increased to 97.09% on Sunday.

The weekly positivity rate has remained below 5% and it currently stands at 2.44%.

The daily positivity rate stands at 2.34%, less than 5% for the last 27 consecutive days, the Union health ministry said on Sunday.
