Covid-19 infections are becoming a major source of concern for the Meghalaya government with 378 fresh cases being detected in the state on Tuesday.
The virus claimed four more lives in the past 24 hours, increasing the state’s total death toll to 831.
The total positive cases reported during the second wave of Covid-19 stand at 49,161.

There are 4263 active cases in the state at present.
So far 44,067 people have recovered from the infection.
The Meghalaya health department vaccinated 14,607 persons across the state on Tuesday.
