A group of students from Tamenglong district of Manipur had a memorable day to have interacted with the President of the country, Ram Nath Kovind at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Thursday.
The group of students from Tamenglong district met President Kovind as part of a National Integration Tour organised by 23 Assam Rifles.
Informing this, the President’s Secretariat on the official Twitter account of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, tweeted on Thursday: “President Kovind meets students from Tamenglong, Manipur, who are on a National Integration Tour organised by 23 Assam Rifles Battalion, at Rashtrapati Bhavan.”

It may be mentioned that the National Integration Tour 2018 kicked off in Tamenglong district headquarters at 23 Assam Rifles Tamenglong Battalion camp on September 15, 2018.
The 16-day National Integration Tour was flagged off by the Commandant of 23 Assam Rifles Battalion, Colonel Raj Kumar, during a programme which was attended by former Chief Executive Officer, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tamenglong and also founder president of Trinity Public School, RK Ragaisin and other dignitaries.
The National Integration Tour has been initiated by 23 Assam Rifles Tamenglong Battalion for a group of students.
