Congress MLAs, MPs and party’s in-charge for Manipur Bhakta Charan Das have signed a representation seeking a meeting with the President.

Meanwhile, the Manipur Congress has also sought a meeting with Governor Najma Heptula to discuss the matter.

However, the Manipur Raj Bhawan is yet to come up with a response.

It may be mentioned here that a delegation of Manipur Congress led by former Chief Minister okram Ibobi Singh is camping in New Delhi.

The Manipur Congress has also reportedly roped in the AICC’s legal team that includes senior advocate Kapil Sibal and Abhishek Manu Singhvi for constitutional discussion and subsequent action on the matter.
