Imphal: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Saturday chaired a high-level review meeting to push the Integrated Farming System (IFS) across the state. The meeting took place at the Cabinet Hall of the Chief Ministerโ€™s Secretariat.

The review focused on harnessing Manipurโ€™s agricultural and horticultural potential to revive the stateโ€™s economy. The Chief Minister stressed the need for diversified and sustainable farming practices.

He directed the concerned departments to actively promote alternative crop cultivation and allied agricultural activities. In particular, he asked officials to focus on the hill districts to improve farmersโ€™ incomes and strengthen rural livelihoods.
