Local MLA Nyamar Karbak along with former minister Lijum Ronya and public leaders of the Liromoba circle in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday visited the fire ravaged Bole village nearby and distributed relief items to the fire victims.

A devastating fire that broke out at Bole village on October 9 last had gutted nearly five houses. Though no human casualty was reported, however, domestic livestock and properties worth lakhs of rupees were reportedly damaged by the inferno.

As immediate financial assistance, Karbak gave away Rs 20000 in cash to all the five families that were affected by the fire, while an additional aid of Rs 5000 per family was also distributed by Yomcha additional deputy commissioner Atul Tayeng on the occasion.

Besides helping the victims with cash, MLA Karbak also donated 50 pieces of CGI sheets to all the victims.

Later while interacting with the fire victims and villagers, Karbak appealed to all to stay alert and be careful so that accidents as such can be avoided in the future, especially when the dry season is approaching.

He then distributed solar lamps and grocery items to all the households of the village.
