Jailed couple Indrani and Peter Mukerjea, who are accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, finally filed their divorce petition in a Mumbai family court on Tuesday.
According to media reports, in the divorce petition, the jailed couple made details about the consent terms of settlement between the two, including apartments in India, Spain and England, bank accounts and fixed deposits in India and abroad, and jewellery and watches.

Married for nearly 16 years, the Mukerjeas have been jailed for their alleged involvement in the murder of Sheena Bora, daughter of Indrani Mukerjea, who originally hails from Guwahati in Assam.
As per a report published on Tuesday by Hindustan Times, the terms of settlement for immovable property include apartments in Marlow Building in Worli (where they got married on November 2002), Bristol and London (both in England), Goa, and Marabella (Spain).

In the report it has also been mentioned that there is an office space at Lower Parel. However, the value of the real estate is not mentioned in the petition, it stated.
The couple, according to the petition, agreed to divide their bank accounts and fixed deposits worth Rs 53 crore held in Syndicate bank in India, and international accounts in Banco Sabadell Atlantico in Spain and ANZ Bank in Auckland, New Zealand.
The murder accused couple also reportedly agreed to divide the expensive jewellery and watches kept in various bank lockers.
On September 14, a special CBI court had directed the authorities concerned to present the couple in front of the court on September 18.
In a letter Indrani Mukerjea had written to her husband from within the Byculla women’s prison asking for a list of objects in the marriage settlement.
“Please shift your belongings from Flat no 19 (of Marlow Building) to Flat no 18, except for the items that I had marked in the photographs of Flat 19 that I had handed over to you,” the letter reportedly states.
