BJP to lodge complaint against CPI-M in Tripura to EC. Aiming to pile heat on the CPI-M, the BJP has decided to lodge complaint against the ruling party with the Election Commission for unleashing ‘forceful donation’.

The CPI-M has been collecting an average of Rs. 3,000 from each government employee in the name of election fund, which is totally unlawful, NEDA convenor and Assam Finance Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said.

Sarma, who arrived here on Wednesday morning to take stock of the party’s preparedness said, “If the ruling party is allowed to collect money from 1.50 lakh employees, the collection will be huge- Rs. 450 crore. Will CPI-M buy arms and ammunition with that huge poll fund collected forcefully from government employees? We are going to lodge complaint against CPI-M state secretary Bijan Dhar with the EC for forceful donation”.

Meantime, the BJP-IPFT alliance was not formed yet and most likely to take place within next two days.
