Shouting slogans against the present government, the participants protested by playing different traditional musical instruments like khol, taal, daba and sankha.

Moreover, the Lakhimpur unit of AASU and Kriskak Mukti Sangram Samity (KMSS) also organized similar protests in North Lakhimpur on Saturday.

The AASU leadership had also recently said that they will continue to fight against the controversial CAA both in court and on the streets till it is repelled.
