The CID wing of Assam Police has quizzed an Assam BJP leader for his alleged involvement in the leakage of question paper of the written test for sub-inspectors in Assam Police.
The BJP leader has been identified as Diban Deka.
The question paper of the written test for sub-inspectors in Assam Police, scheduled to be held on September 20, was leaked hours before the commencement of the test.
The written test was cancelled immediately after the question paper was circulated on social media.

Meanwhile, the Crime Branch of Assam Police has detained another person, identified as Kushal Das, from Bamundi in Kamrup Rural district in connection with the case.
Besides, one Sanjib Sarma has been detained from Noonmati area in Guwahati and one more person, identified as Dipjyoti Bora, has been picked up from Kheroni in Karbi Anglong district.
According to sources, a circle secretly conducted written test for the posts of sub-inspector in Assam Police in Thank You Lodge located at Ganeshguri in Guwahati.
A total of 50 candidates sat in the written test on September 19, a day ahead of the actual date of the examination.
A hand-written question paper has been recovered from the lodge.
Diban Deka, who has a printing press, got the contract from the government for printing the question paper of the written test for police sub-inspectors.
It has been alleged that Diban Deka had collected Rs 1 lakh against each question paper.
The Crime Branch sleuths have detained four owners of Thank You Lodge, including Alakesh Baishya, Pranjal Sarma, Bimal Thapa and Pranab Bora.
The Crime Branch has seized computer hard disk, blackboard and some other items after raiding the lodge.
