Popular Assamese singer Papon is set to perform in Guwahati on January 20, Saturday. He will perform at the ITA Machkhowa, in the city.
The concert being hosted by Deepshikha Foundation is for cancer care. The concert will start from 6 in the evening.
Papon is the stagename of Angaraag Mahanta and he is the founder of the folk-fusion band called Papon and The East India Company. He is the son of Assamese folk singers Khangen Mahanta and Archana Mahanta. He was introduced to music early on in his childhood.
