The Northeast Frontier Railways (NFR) will operate two special trains between Guwahati to Bikaner and Guwahati to Barmer from June to cater to the rush of passengers.
The Guwahati – Bikaner junction weekly special will start operations from June 26, leaving Guwahati at 10:45 am every Saturday to reach Bikaner at 5:50 am on the third day.
The Bikaner junction – Guwahati weekly special will run from June 3, leaving Bikaner junction at 1:45 am every Wednesday to reach Guwahati at 12:35 am on the third day.
The Guwahati – Barmer weekly special will operate from July 1 and leave Guwahati at 10:45 am every Thursday to reach Barmer at 8:25 am on the third day.

The Barmer – Guwahati weekly special will start services from July 4, leaving Barmer at 11:35 pm every Sunday to reach Guwahati at 12:35 am on the fourth day.
Moreover, the services of several passenger trains will be restored by mid-July.
At present 62 pairs of specials mail/express trains and five pairs of local passenger trains operate every day in the region under NFR.
The NFR will also operate an additional 10 pairs of specials mail/express trains.
