The NSCN (IM) on Friday said it has no knowledge about the proposed talks stated to be held in New Delhi on March 9.

The outfit in a statement refuting the news report appeared on a news portal about the proposed talks, which is circulating on social media.

It said the government of India must be clear about the position of its representative R.N. Ravi, with regard to the framework agreement.

Ravi is the Nagaland governor and Centre’s interlocutor for Naga talks.

As per an interview given to a leading local newspaper, Ravi accused the NSCN (I-M) of “indulging in delay tactics” and making “new and mischievous interpretation” of the already agreed position

The outfit advised the MHA not to put itself into “baseless” and “pseudo position”.

The Naga Rising has demanded accountability and clarity in peace talks saying agreements must be honoured in letter and spirit.
