The National Health Mission (NHM), Assam, has invited applications from eligible candidates for filling 16 vacancies to the post of Inspector of Drugs.
The Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam has released the recruitment notification for the vacant posts under Commissioner of Food Safety and Drug Administration, Health & Family Welfare department.
The filling of online application forms for the vacant posts will continue till December 6, 2019.
To apply for the post of Inspector of Drugs, a candidate must have a degree in pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences, or medicine with specialization in clinical pharmacology or microbiology from a university established in India by law.
Moreover, the candidates should have adequate knowledge of at least one language of the state in addition to English.
Applicants should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on January 1, 2019.
The pay scale of the inspector of drugs is Rs. 22,000 to 87,000 per month with grade pay of Rs. 11500 per month plus other allowances as applicable from time to time as per govt. rules.

Candidates of general category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 250 whereas candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC/SC/ST (P)/ST (H) categories should pay an application fee of Rs 150.
Application fee should be deposited only through treasury challan.
Candidates should mention the treasury challan number and date while filling up the application form.
