GUWAHATI: The Congress party has announced its candidates for 12 Lok Sabha seats in Assam that go to polls soon.
The Congress has left two remaining Lok Sabha seats from Assam for its INDIA alliance partners.

The Congress has announced candidates for: Kokrajhar, Dhubri, Barpeta, Darrang-Udalguri, Guwahati, Diphu, Karimganj, Silchar, Nagaon, Kaziranga, Sonitpur and Jorhat Lok Sabha seats in Assam.
Among the big names from the Assam Congress to have been given party tickets to contest the Lok Sabha elections are: Gaurav Gogoi from Jorhat, Pradyut Bordoloi from Nagaon, Rakibul Hussain from Dhubri and Mira Barthakur Goswami from Guwahati.
However, sitting MP from Barpeta seat in Assam – Abdul Khaleque has been snapped and denied party ticket for the Lok Sabha elections 2024.
