The BJP seems to have decided to turn a blind eye towards the anti-CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) sentiments in Assam.

The BJP, which earlier, decided to completely ignore the emotions and protest by Assamese people towards the controversial CAB (now Act) and passed it in the Parliament in December 2019, now has decided to implement it by mowing down the anti-CAA sentiments of Assamese people.

Without any hesitation and not keeping in heart the anti-CAA sentiments of Assamese people, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that CAA will be implemented.

“CAA is a central act and it will be implemented,” said CM Sarbananda Sonowal.

Not only Sarbananda Sonowal, BJP National President JP Nadda also asserted that CAA without doubt will be implemented.

“CAA will be implemented,” said JP Nadda while speaking to the media during the release of BJP’s manifesto for Assam elections on Tuesday in Guwahati.
