The COVID19 positive cases among Assam Police personnel increased to 823 on Saturday.
This has been informed by additional director general of police (law & order), Assam, GP Singh in his latest update on COVID19 infection among Assam Police personnel.

The top cop informed that out of the total infected police personnel, 444 have recovered from the disease.
Singh said, COVID19 has so far claimed the life of one cop.
He has also informed that there are a total of 814 Assam police personnel are in quarantine and 29 other personnel have joined their duties.

Assam has so far registered a total of 21,864 COVID19 positive cases with 6,643 active cases and 53 deaths while a total of 15,165 patients have recovered from the disease.
The state reported deaths of two positive COVID19 patients on Saturday.
Confirming the death of the two persons, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the deceased have been identified as 61-year-old Binandi Ram Kalita from Kamrup Metro and 62-year-old Sushil Shymal from Jorhat.
