Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi will likely meet Uttar Pradesh chief secretary and director general of police on Friday for assessing the law and order arrangement before delivering the verdict on the Ayodhya land dispute case.
The judgement of the decades-long case is likely to be pronounced next week.
Before delivering his judgement, the CJI will meet UP chief secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari and DGP Om Prakash Singh in his chamber.
The judgement on the Ayodhya land dispute case was reserved on October 16 after it was debated on for 40 days.
CJI Ranjan Gogoi will retire on November 17 and he is likely to pronounce the judgement before that.
